Scrapaganza June 2008

I know there has been a lot written elsewhere about the weekend but I just wanted to say that I had a wonderful time.

Yes there were some things that could have been done better but I think any event of that size is likely to have problems.
Maybe I was luckier than others in that the missing teacher/kits didn't affect my classes.

The food at the hotel could have been better and I didn't like the fact that the hotel was in the middle of nowhere but apart from that I had a fantastic weekend. It was great to meet up with friends, both old and new.
Thank you Frances for being such a lovely roomie. To the "girls" who dress up - your costumes were amazing...how Monique and Ingrid are going to top their costumes next time I don't know :D and I loved Mary's black & white costume...FAB!

The only think that spoiled it was Ben (Heidi's husband) who panicked everyone into leaving on the earlier bus! I came back from getting my case out the locker to find almost everyone else had gone but at least I had Helen & Suzanne to keep me company on the way back to the airport.

I'll try and get some photos of the projects I did uploaded later this week.

Oh and to those who said they had read my blog over the last year (yes that includes you Alison!!! LOL ) I'd love it if you could take a minute to leave me a comment or two and/or links to your own blogs.

Maggie, I always love to hear what folk are upto and can't wait to see what you've made over the weekend. Needless to say I was gutted I missed catching up with everyone.

OK, OK, I'll come out from lurking for a minute! It was great to see you again at SAG, and thanks for making me feel so welcome with the "Scottish gang". Glad you got home fine; I managed to change trains OK and have only got slightly sore muscles from lugging around all those extra bags... :-)
